How can you sell your tools at a fraction of the price of the competition?
We are a direct-to-consumer retailer. By cutting out distributors we are able to offer high quality tools at a fraction of the price.
Where are your products made?
Just like our major competitors, a majority of our products are professionally manufactured in China in order to provide the highest quality at the best price to you, the customer. Overseas manufacturing is a cost-effective way of providing affordable products to consumers.
Our first product, the Hex Driver, was manufactured in our garage, which is how we got the name American Mutt Tools.
Do I need to pay tax?
We charge sales tax for orders that are shipped to select states, if sales tax needs to be charged, it will be shown to you during the checkout process.
Can I buy your tools at a retail location?
We are a direct-to-consumer internet retailer meaning that we only sell our tools online. From lower prices to quick and personalized customer service, this business model allows us to provide our customers a better shopping experience every step of the way.

Do I pay for shipping?
We offer free shipping to the contiguous United States when the order value is over $35. We currently do not offer free shipping to Alaska or Hawaii. Depending on the delivery location and time, we are also able to offer free 1, 2 and 3 day shipping which will be shown on the product page and checkout page.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Yes, we can ship to P.O Boxes. However, we only offer standard USPS shipping speed when shipping to a PO Box. We do not offer expedited delivery to PO Boxes.
